Heals The Daughter Of A Grecian Woman
A Grecian
woman of Phoenicia came. Her daughter was possessed. She said, “O Lord,
have mercy on my home! My daughter is possessed. But this I know, if you will
speak the Word, she will be free. You son of David, hear my prayer!”
But Rachel said, “Good woman, trouble not the Lord. He did not come to
And Jesus said, “Behold, I was not sent to the Greek, nor to Syro-Phoenicians. I just come to my people, Israel. ”
And then the woman fell down at His feet and said, “Lord, Jesus Christ, I
implore that you will save my child.”
And Jesus said, “You know the common proverb well.
It is not meet that one should give the children's bread to dogs. ”
And then the woman said, “Yes, Jesus Christ, this I know, but dogs may eat the
crumbs that fall down from their master's board.”
And Jesus said, “Such faith I have not seen, no, not among the Israelites. She
is not serf, nor dog. ”
And then He said to her, “According to your faith so let it be.” The woman went
her way and when she came unto her child, behold, she was healed.
From there He arose and went to the region of Tyre
and Sidon. And He entered a house and wanted no one to know it, but He could
not be hidden. For a woman whose young daughter had an unclean spirit heard
about Him, and she came and fell at His feet. The woman was a Greek, a Syro-Phoenician by birth, and she kept asking Him to cast
the demon out of her daughter. But Jesus said to her, "Let the children be
filled first, for it is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to
the little dogs."
And she answered and said to Him, "Yes, Lord,
yet even the little dogs under the table eat from the children's crumbs."
Then He said to her, "For this saying go your
way; the demon has gone out of your daughter."
And when she had come to her house, she found the
demon gone out, and her daughter lying on the bed.
Explanations:
1.
Learn to be patient and humble in the house of God.
2.
Should you be harassed, embarrassed, rebuked or
disciplined, be wise and humble enough to accept it with joy and goodwill, and
still continue to stay in one true church of God.

Many people are quick to leave the Covenant Church of God
because somebody insulted them, the minister falsely accused them, even when
they are given advice or corrections. They leave the church of God to join
another church, ministry or fellowship. Such people show that they are both
ignorant and foolish hypocrites, because apart from the one true Covenant
Church of God, there is no other church, ministry or fellowship for your
salvation.

Examinations are necessary, sometimes, to test a person’s
faith and sincerity, to know if he is trustworthy.
Beware Of Cities And Nations
Apostle Matthew: Son of man, myself said that the subheading, Tyre And Sidon, shall not be in the Yahweh's Book Of Life. The reason is because the cities are full of powers of darkness. Various powers of darkness were in these cities. It was not only the child of this woman that was possessed. Many children were possessed by the powers of darkness. But it was only this woman that got deliverance – only her child was delivered.
Apostle Matthew: Son of man, why did Jesus tell her to go, that her child was healed?
The Head: It was because herself showed faith. She proved herself a woman of understanding and trustworthiness. And she made efforts to get what she wanted. While efforts were being made to drive her away, she strove and remained steadfast, strove to come in and get what she wanted.
She was a very good example to all the children of God, who leave the DivineBase Ministry, giving some reasons or other excuses, when all that they should do is to exercise patience, take corrections or remain steadfast.
Apostle Matthew: What did Jesus tell her?
The Head: Jesus told her that He came to save the children of God, all over the world.
Apostle Matthew: Who are the dogs?
The Head: It is all those people who refuse to do what God said. All those people who are being told, but they say that they will not do what God said. They say that they do not want to know. All the people who live but do not observe the rites of holiness.
Apostle Matthew: Son of man, have you seen why dogs misbehave?
The Head: Yes. Some people think that the dog Jesus was referring to is the ordinary dog in the human society, which people do see from day to day.
Apostle Matthew: Son of man, the children of God should be walking in spirit, through quiet time and meditation, for themselves to be able to understand and explain spiritual statements and mysteries. It is not every time the Angels come in, the children of God bring up their problems and needs. There are works for the children of God to do, and there are works for the Angels to do – there is division of labour, and each group have to do their own respective works, for the wellbeing of humanity and to the glory of God.
Son of man, this woman had grown in spirit. But the power that she was using was not the power of the Holy Spirit. That was why she was able to understand what Jesus was saying to her. Son of man, it is not everybody in this age, in these present and modern generations, that shall understand what Jesus is saying, because Jesus speaks in parables. The dog that Jesus was speaking about was this region of Tyre and Sidon, because powers of darkness filled the area. The region did not know what the Holy Spirit is. Even if you told them, they refused to believe, because the powers of darkness overshadowed the region. It was because of faith and grace that the woman got solution.
Apostle Matthew: How did she get what she wanted?
The Head: She believed and Jesus said to her that her child had being healed.
Apostle Matthew: Son of man, what people should know is that it is not always that prayers and spiritual works have to be done. Only for the fact that Jesus spoke, the evil spirits left he child, because the evil spirits knew that Jesus entered the region.
The Head: Let God's will be done.
Apostle Matthew: The evil spirits knew. Even if Jesus were very far from them and spoke, the evil spirits stayed where they were and heard what Jesus was saying. And when Jesus spoke, they removed themselves, left the child.
But, son of man, the bible record is not complete. The bible authors did not state what happened.
The people of that Tyre and Sidon did not welcome us, because they were pagans. Their head was at a shrine, and their god told him that King of Kings had arrived in that region, that the pagans should know what to do. But the pagans did not understand what their god was telling them. Their god was telling them that the king who created the heavens and the earth had arrived in the region, and that he will drive them away, but the pagans did not understand.
And the pagans brought sacrifices and offered to their god. They thought that that was what their god was telling them. But their god was warning them, that they have not understood that a power above all powers entered the region. Themselves… their god was warning them, telling them to go back. But the people were asking for mercy and pleading. Before they knew it, their god left.
When they examined and found out that their god had left them, no longer working, they gathered and held meeting, and decided to come to us, to ask us to leave the region, that themselves do not want us.
Apostle Matthew: Son of man, it was when we were going back, leaving the region, that this woman came to us, because the news of what happened had spread everywhere. This woman came from the region to meet Jesus. Only herself out of all the human population there, came to Jesus.
The Head: Even so it is in almost all the cities and nations in the world. That is why the children of God should not conclude that a nation or city love, serve and worship God, simply because they find the name of such city or nation in the holy book. Humanity are so spiritually blind, ignorant and lazy that they do not know that they are living in the kingdom of darkness. Even their churches, ministries and fellowships are the deceptive handiworks of Satan, by which Satan continue to hold humanity in bondage, in captivity, and prevent them from doing the covenant will of God and from entering the Kingdom of Heaven.

Apostle Matthew: In this city were various manipulations and oppositions by people, including those who want to disorganize works and those who are making noise. The subheading, Tyre And Sidon, have to be removed.
The Head: It is already removed.
Apostle Matthew: What did Jesus wanted to explain?
The Head: Sometimes, a person may be tested, examined. Ministers of God should examine the people that come to them with various problems, to know those who want to worship God, those who do not want to worship God and those who come just for their problems to be solved. Then, the ministers of God should ask the Holy Spirit, what should be done and what should not be done.
Patience And Transformation
The incident also shows that people who come to God with their problems and needs, should have patience. They should not always be in haste, to get solutions and go away.
Sometimes, solutions to problems are delayed, for people to stay in the presence of God and receive the power of the Holy Spirit with which to live good and successful lives. When the children of God come to the house of God, they have to be washed, cleansed of all sins, evils, abominations, defilements, pollutions and bondages – entanglements. Then they have to be purified, sanctified and anointed, both spiritually and physically, in body and spirit, for God to bless and prosper them.
Usually, these processes take place in subtle ways, silently and unnoticed. During the time of purifications and sanctifications, which seem to be delays, people usually feel that nothing is being done, or that the processes involved are many- endless, one after another. Yet, much is being achieved in spirit, which eventually come to manifestations.
When the children of God are asked questions or told what to do, they should use the heart of the Holy Spirit – peace, softness, politeness and humility – to answer questions and do what they are told to do, for them to get solutions and answers to their prayers.
